FAQ
Enchaînement?
We will have you dance about 3 to 4 types of enchaînement that include basic elements such as [Adagio, Pirouette, and Allegro]. We don't do barre.
We will carefully examine aspects that cannot be fully judged from variation, such as basic ability, musicality, coordination, absorption, and future potential.
Different ballet schools require different personnel, methods, and policies, so the enchainement examination is very important, especially for those who wish to study abroad, so that they can study abroad at a school that suits their individuality.
The contestants are in the process of learning ballet, and their bodies are in the process of changing, so I would like to see not only the perfectly finished variations, but also the process of growth. It should be a good opportunity to find new possibilities that you could not notice before.
In addition, there is always a lesson evaluation at auditions for domestic and foreign ballet companies, including famous international competitions. We would appreciate it if you could come to the enchaînement examination as an opportunity to step up further.
Pre competitive?
8-12 year olds are in the pre-competitive division. In the pre-competitive division, we will award 1st to 5th place in each age group, taking into account the large physical differences in one year.
From 2024, we have decided to introduce the enchaînement examination for all pre-competitive divisions, so the awards will be as follows.
Enchaînement selection: 1st to 5th place
Variation judging: 1st to 5th place
Overall 1st to 5th place
As for the Enchaînement selection, please be assured that we have made every effort to ensure that everyone in the pre-competitive division is comfortable with the process.
Among the competitions that invite judges from famous overseas ballet schools, there are very few that have a pre-competitive division. I would like you to choose it for the first time to participate in the competition.
Medical support?
In this competition, we believe that "physical and mental health comes first" above all else, and apply examination standards based on the supervision of a doctor.
With the cooperation of specialists in various fields such as nutrition, psychology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, we will set up a medical support booth at the competition venue and hold a special seminar.
Participants, teachers, and family members can attend the seminar free of charge, so please take advantage of the waiting time to attend the seminar.
Of course, you can also watch the archive of the seminar. If the schedule is not convenient and you cannot attend the lecture at the venue, please watch the archived video that will be sent after the event.
The latest updates
January 16,2025
The medical support schedule has been posted.
The theme for 2025 is "Eating Disorders." To ensure that children who are growing and working hard in competitions can stay healthy in the future. By having instructors and parents learn more about why they are called "growing" and what it means, more than the children themselves, we hope to protect the health of children.
Our instructors will be holding seminars, so please take this opportunity to learn together about the health and safety of children, teachers, and parents!
